Tachograph cards: cost and payment methods

The first issue, renewal and replacement of a tachograph card due to malfunction (beyond one year from issue) or damage involves the payment of € 40.17 (€ 37.00 for administrative fees and, from 1 August 2014, € 3.17 for postage).

The replacement of a defective tachograph card, within the first year from its issue, involves the payment of € 20.17 (€ 17.00 for administrative fees and, from 1 August 2014, € 3.17 for postage). This fee does not apply if the application is submitted within six months of the issue of the tachograph card.

Payment of the administrative fee can be made:

• directly through SIPA >>;
• by cash at the Chamber of Commerce offices;
• by debit or credit card at Chamber of Commerce offices.
